The brief:
West End Gate, London is a 30 floor new build property containing 1 to 4 bedroom apartments on Edgeware Road, just a 10 minute walk from Oxford Street. Fire Barrier were employed to carry out the cavity barrier fire protection to give the building a 2 hour protection.
The solution:
Working on a floor at a time we installed ‘Siderise CWFS120 perimeter fire stop system’ complete with Siderise galvanised support brackets which fixed to the concrete floor slab as per product installation guidance.
This solution provided the client with 2 hour fire resistance between floor compartments and satisfied the building fire strategy.
Once installations were complete a Siderise report of the work was undertaken and sent to Siderise for their sign off and approval of the installation.
