The brief:
Following a safety survey of this historic building, now home of the world famous Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery, it was found that service penetrations through compartments walls and floors were not compliant with fire regulations.
The solution:
Using Rockwool FirePro® Ablative coated batt system, Rockwool FirePro® Acrylic Intumescent sealant and Rockwool FirePro® High Expansion Intumescent sealant in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations our operatives sealed various openings and service penetrations through compartment walls and floors within lift shaft riser cupboards.
